Help Fight Breast Cancer

The Seymour Pink breast cancer walk will take place

– VIRTUALLY…right here at Oxford Greens.  The annual

“Pounding the Pavement for Pink” event is a primary

fundraiser for Seymour Pink.

Team Oxford Greens Goes Pink is organizing events

for our community.  They will include:

• A 5-K event for runners and walkers.  (Limited to

30 people, with groups of 5 people in staggered

groups).  It will start and end at the Ridge Club and

it will cover part of Fairview and most of Phase 3. 

Date, Friday, October 2, 2020 at 9:00 AM

• A 3-K event.  (Also, with the same limitations above and social distancing.).  It will loop around Fairway Drive and part of Country Club. Date, Tuesday, October 6th at 9:00 AM

• A true “virtual” participation experience where individuals or small groups can walk or run a distance with which they are comfortable on their own…even on a treadmill.  This virtual race provides people with options so those who wish to do a virtual race on their own can do so. 

Again, the 5-K and 3-K races are limited to 30 people each on a first come, first serve basis.  So, register early

 

Registration will open on July 1st.  If you wish to participate in either the 5-K or 3-K events, go to the team website at www.oggp.org and click on the “2020 Virtual” tab at the top.  Click on “5-K or 3-K Select a Slot” to make sure that there are times available.  Then, click the “JOIN” button on the home screen to registered for Pounding the Pavement for Pink.  (if you are doing the “Virtual” event at Oxford Greens, you only need to click the “JOIN” button.)  The early registration fee in July is $30 plus a small processing fee.  The cost of registration goes up each month after that.  All registrations before September will receive the official “9th Annual” PP4P T-Shirt.
